Cleansweeps / Tripletes

A cleansweep happens when a country gets the first three positions in the same event and year. Since 1993, the world champion has the right to defend her title in the next edition, and her country is awarded a fourth contestant. Only in this case is possible to achieve a "foursweep" (i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th from the same country).
